Context is Half the Work: A Partial History of the APG

This reader was published for a partial retrospective of the Artist Placement Group at Summerhall, Edinburgh in 2016.

As a stand-alone document, it provides a succinct introduction to this groundbreaking practice as well as thumbnail sketches of seven placements, discussion on Barbara Steveni’s project I Am An Archive and a timeline of APG activity.
