For Trade Show Ella Gibbs has for the first time revisited the remaining archive of her 2003 project Spare Time Job Centre. The archive has been housed within the exhibition and Ella, together with participants and collaborators in the initial project, has assessed the role of the archive and the meaning and potential of the project a decade after it was first realised. Ella will be reflecting on this excavation and referring back to the original ambitions and methodologies of Spare Time Job Centre. ESP members who ran Trading Post at Birmingham Library in December will be join Ella in a discussion about value exchange, time banks and non-monetary economies.
