Workshop: Myvillages
18 January 2014
Join Myvillages for a workshop on collective product development ideas and methodologies. This workshop is the first stage of the development of an ESP product for Grizedale Arts’ Coniston-based Honest Shop.
Myvillages was founded by artists Kathrin Böhm (Germany/UK), Wapke Feenstra (Netherlands) and Antje Schiffers (Germany) in 2003 who share an interest in the rural as a space for and of cultural production. Myvillages’ activities range from long term collaborative research projects to small scale informal presentations, from work in private spaces to public conferences, from exhibitions to publications and from personal questions to public debate. For the International Village Shop the group works with small communities collaboratively developing products in order to reflect on local resources.
